Teknix TK2V3W 2 Series Freestanding 3kg Vented Tumble Dryer with Anti-Crease - White - C Rated

The TK2V3W is a compact vented dryer for single occupants, student lets, caravans and holiday properties, or as a second machine for small urgent loads. The 3kg drum is deliberately modest, taking roughly a load of shirts or a few towels rather than a family wash, and the whole unit measures just 52cm wide by 64cm high.

Being vented is the trade-off to understand before specifying it. Warm, damp air leaves through a hose, so it needs an open window, an airbrick or a wall vent nearby, and it cannot sit in a sealed cupboard. Accept that and vented drying is the simplest and cheapest way to get clothes dry, with no water tank to empty and no condenser to clean.

Two programmes keep operation uncomplicated, and an anti-crease phase turns the drum intermittently after drying ends so garments do not sit and set creases. A child lock stops the controls being changed and an overheat sensor cuts power if the temperature rises too far. Energy class is C.

Net weight is 20kg, light enough for one person to lift onto a worktop or a shelf, and noise peaks at 65dB. Packaged dimensions are 63cm by 48.5cm by 76cm, which makes it straightforward to transport in a car boot. It is supplied with a fitted 3-pin UK plug for a standard 220-240V supply and covered for two years with registration.
