Teknix TKED64INDB Freestanding 60cm Double Oven Electric Cooker with Induction Hob - Black - A Rated

The TKED64INDB is a 60cm freestanding cooker in black that pairs a double oven with an induction hob, which puts it a step above the ceramic models for anyone who cooks on the hob a great deal. The main oven holds 68L and the top cavity 31L.

Induction is the reason to pay the difference. The four zones run at 1200-1500W, 1200-1500W, 1800-2100W and 2300-3000W, each with a booster setting, so a large pan of water comes to the boil noticeably faster than on a ceramic surface. Heat goes into the pan rather than the glass, which also means response to a change of setting is immediate and the surface cools quickly once the pan is lifted away.

Two oven cavities give practical flexibility. The 31L upper compartment handles grilling and smaller dishes without the need to heat the 68L main oven, so a weekday meal need not run the larger cavity at all. Five cooking functions are available across the two, and the interiors are finished in easy-clean enamel with removable door glass for proper cleaning.

A grill pan and two chrome wire shelves are supplied. The cooker measures 59.5cm wide, 60.0cm deep and 90.0cm high, with a net weight of 47.6kg. The published energy rating is A. Warranty cover is two years with registration.
